Calculator formula
FV = P × [((1 + i)n − 1) / i] × (1 + i)
i = annual return ÷ 1200; n = years × 12
Invested = P × n   |   Gain = FV − Invested
If the assumed return is 0%, FV = P × n.

This is a projection tool, not investment advice or a guaranteed return. SIP refers to investing in mutual funds, not an insurance product. Mutual fund investments are subject to market risks.

Small Investments, Consistent Growth Potential

Why Choose SIP

01

Benefit from Rupee Cost Averaging

Investing a fixed amount regularly allows you to purchase more mutual fund units when prices are lower and fewer when prices are higher. This helps spread your investment cost across different market conditions.

02

Explore the Power of Compounding

When investment returns remain invested, they can generate additional returns over time. Longer investment periods offer greater potential for compounding, although market returns are not guaranteed.

03

Start Small, Invest Regularly

You don’t need a large amount to begin a SIP. Many mutual fund schemes allow monthly investments starting from ₹500 or lower, making regular investing accessible to different budgets.

04

Flexible Investment Options

Depending on the mutual fund scheme, you can increase, reduce, pause or stop future SIP instalments. Redemption conditions, exit loads, taxes and lock-in periods may apply.

How Our SIP Calculator Works

Our SIP Calculator uses a standard future value formula with monthly compounding to estimate how your regular investments could grow over time.

FV = P × [((1 + i)ⁿ − 1) ÷ i] × (1 + i)

  • FV = Estimated Future Value of your SIP investment

  • P = Monthly SIP Investment Amount

  • i = Monthly Rate of Return (Annual Return % ÷ 12 ÷ 100)

  • n = Total Number of Monthly Instalments (Years × 12)

How Your SIP Results Are Calculated

Total Invested Amount = Monthly SIP Amount × Total Monthly Instalments

Estimated Returns = Future Value − Total Invested Amount

Projected SIP Value = Total Invested Amount + Estimated Returns

Important Information:

The calculator assumes investments are made at the beginning of each month, with a constant assumed rate of return compounded monthly. All calculations are illustrative and actual mutual fund returns may vary due to market conditions.

What Your SIP Calculator Estimate Does Not Include

Market Fluctuations

Mutual fund returns are not fixed or guaranteed. Actual market performance may vary each year, and market declines can affect your final investment value. The calculator assumes a constant return for illustration.

Taxes on Investment Returns

The calculator displays estimated values before taxes. Capital gains tax and other applicable charges may reduce your final amount. Tax treatment depends on the mutual fund category, holding period and prevailing tax laws.

Inflation & Purchasing Power

Inflation reduces the purchasing power of money over time. The amount you accumulate in the future may buy less than the same amount today. Consider inflation when planning long-term financial goals.

SIP Increases & Additional Investments

The calculation assumes a fixed monthly SIP amount throughout the selected period. Increasing your SIP contribution, investing additional lump sums or changing your investment schedule can significantly affect the estimated outcome.
